I’ve spent my career building software for companies like Dark Horse Comics, Geoloqi (now part of Esri) and Simple.

I have over five years of experience developing native Android apps and ten years building full stack web applications. I’ve worked with a variety of languages including Python, Ruby, and Java.

Additionally, I’ve spent countless hours helping teams iterate on process and automation. I’ve filled the role of technical lead on several product teams. I have a knack for helping teams clarify requirements and dependencies before uncertainty impacts their ability to deliver.

I’d be effective in a role as a senior or lead engineer, a software architect, a technical product manager (or similar).

As an individual contributor I specialize in writing clean, idiomatic, well documented code with a strong focus on clarity.

I graduated from The School of Journalism and Communication at the University of Oregon in 2009.
